Day 1: Moshi – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your guide will collect you from your accommodation in Moshi to start your safari adventure at Tarangire National Park. Established as a national park in 1970 from former hunting grounds, Tarangire offers a vibrant wildlife experience across a landscape roughly the size of Luxembourg. Renowned for its vast elephant herds, the park is also home to lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The striking baobab trees scattered throughout the northeastern region create a dramatic backdrop. Following extensive wildlife viewing, overnight at a designated campsite within the park.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Ngorongoro Crater, passing through the town of Mto wa Mbu, with scenic views of Lake Manyara en route. Ascending via the steep slopes of the East African Rift Valley, you will soon arrive at Ngorongoro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descending 600 meters into the crater, you’ll explore an ecosystem teeming with wildlife. The crater’s ecosystem supports between 15,000 and 25,000 animals, including buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, creating ideal conditions for predators. With over 100 lions residing in the crater, spotting the complete “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—is highly probable. Overnight at Simba Camp, offering breathtaking views from the crater’s rim.

Following breakfast, journey to Lake Manyara National Park, dominated by a large, shallow soda lake that attracts numerous bird species, notably large flamingo flocks.
