Tarangire River Camp

Tarangire Safari Camp features 21 basic yet stylish tented cottages. It has 7 doubles fitted with one king-size bed, 8 twin cottages having two twin beds, 4 triple cottages each with three twin beds, as well as two family tents each with four beds. The living area is encircled by a traditional large canvas-safari tent, and it is raised above the ground-level and constructed on wooden stilts. Also there is a huge chalet styled roof on top of every tent which offers additional provides extra shade plus protection against weather elements. Every tent is reached through a brief series of stairs and takes you to a private veranda that offers spectacular views. These verandas are fitted each with a day bed plus safari chairs. The nicely furnished tents are elegantly adorned with welcoming writing desks, carved wooden trunks, as well as large beds covered with mosquito nets. At the rare end of every cottage is an inside bathroom having a fully functional flushing toilet, mirror, shower as well as a sink.

Tarangire River Camp’s main Lodge is quite place and comprises of the fire pit, lounge, dining area as well as a coffee bar, and it has a well positioned deck that offers breathtaking views of the banks of the river. The walls of the dining area as well as the lobby are a combination of canvas, timber partitions as well as open air settings. The roof consists of wooden beams that ate covered with thatch to offers a better sun shade. The wooden walls are adorned with charming safari artifacts. There is a dining room on one side of the main Lodge while on the other side is the lounge area. Food and Drink

The food quality offered at Tarangire River Camp is really nice. Please keep in mind that you will be accompanied to and from the dining area every evening to ensure that you are safe. Breakfast comprises of a buffet with order for toast, eggs and omelets. The buffet includes juice, yogurt, fruit, nuts, breads and cereal. The Lunch is not a buffet but served as a fixed course. In addition, they prepare Breakfast as well as lunch boxes are available for those who would love to have their meals out in the bush during the game viewing excursions.
